Every man and his dog in the technology industry is claiming to be a ‘Social Media Guru’ not forgetting to add it to their list of credentials in their Twitter Bio.

As it happens Social Media has only been around for the last five years at a push, never been taught at any University or as a firm part of the education system, so how the hell can anyone be an expert let alone a guru at Social Media amuses me.

I mean, all the sites are free to use and the people are out there (on the internet) waiting for you and your great business. *coughs*

We are working on an education platform though at The Worst Kept Secret.TWKS has created a course to be used within the education curriculum; to educate students of 16+ about Social Media, to focus on the positives and to understand how to create a career from it. Yes the future is looking bright…

What are you saying?

If you are running a company or a self generated project and think you need guidance or assistance in your Social Media campaign, ask for advice and references to research, but please don’t pay silly money to people who cannot guarantee on deliverables and show a growth in your online activity.
